What to expect on your first visit

On your first visit you will be asked to complete a registration form.
A full clinical examination will be carried out in privacy to enable the physiotherapist to make an accurate diagnosis.
You can be accompanied during a treatment if you wish to do so.
The findings of the assessment, including the diagnosis and treatment aims will be discussed with you. An effective treatment plan will be developed with you ensuring we take account of your lifestyle, leisure activities and general health.
The first appointment will be booked for one hour to allow for the assessment and treatment to be carried out.
If you need a course of treatment we will advise you on how many treatments sessions we think you will need. However these are only recommendations and if you wish to discontinue your treatment at any stage just let us know.
Each follow up session will be approximately 30 minutes each.
We are confident that you will find our service highly efficient and professional at all times. However if there is anything you feel we could do better, or are unhappy with any element of your care , then please do not hesitate to let us know.
