Treatments

Accurate treatment and diagnosis is the key to successful treatment and rehabilitation. Our physiotherapists will take the time to thoroughly explain to the patient the treatment of choice, monitor and adjust during the course of treatment as required.

Treatments may include:

  • Mobilisation and manipulation of joints , Connective and neural tissues.
  • Mckenzie mechanical diagnosis and treatment of spinal and joint conditions
  • Electrotherapy-for pain relief or tissue repair eg ultrasound, laser therapy, interferential therapy
  • Exercises for graded rehabilitation programmes
  • Acupuncture for pain relief
  • Pelvic floor re-education using biofeedback EMG
  • Sports massage
  • Core Stability and correction of muscle imbalance problems
  • Postural analysis and profiling for athletes
  • TENs machines – available for hire before purchasing
  • Injection therapy for joints –by our GP sports injury specialist
