Acupuncture at Willaston
Acupuncture is one of the oldest forms of medicine originating in China over 3000 years ago. Research shows that acupuncture causes the release of natural pain relieving chemicals stored in the brain (endorphins). These chemicals assist the body in its healing process as well as providing pain relief.
All physiotherapists who practice acupuncture at Willaston Physiotherapy Clinic are members of the AACP (Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists). Members of the AACP have taken post-graduate training and are qualified to use Acupuncture for pain relief.
