AMAZING SUCCESS!!! Our Ladies Charity Extravaganza was a fantastic night!

Mrs Barclay Paterson of Brimstage Hats had us all enthralled with her talk on hats and how to wear them, she gave us some nifty tips on how to change an existing hat…. Some of which included car spray paint! Trip Fashion was inundated with customers and had practically sold out within the hour and this was mainly by the Willaston Physio Staff.

Hannah Roberts from Hannahcooks4U had all our mouths watering with her delicious homemade bread and cakes, her Christmas Cupcakes being extremely popular and sold out fast! Steve Devaney from Move, Health & Fitness still ran his evening classes of Metafit, Move & Box and Move & Tone – our guests were invited to pop into the gym and have a look at a class in session, this has resulted in a number of ladies signing up for some fitness lessons, he also gave out information about our Move & Lose Weight Loss/Management programme. (Places are limited and going fast for Januarys block session, so book now to avoid disappointment!) Linda from Willaston Aesthetics was conducting mini consultations and giving advice about the best anti-ageing treatments for skin problems. She is now taking appointments, please call for a consultation. We sold Christmas cards for the Alzheimer’s Society, along with pins and fridge magnets. Clare House also sold Christmas cards and generously gave us a donation from their profits. Jillian Dawn sent us some beautiful flower arrangements to sell and our very own Pam designed some gorgeous flower filled vases to decorate the clinic.

We were overwhelmed with the donation of raffle prizes from local businesses, the raffle was a complete success and there were some very lucky people on the evening, Jane Forrester won our star prize, a Mazda MX5 for a weekend, courtesy of Mark Mitchell, The Mitchell Group.

We would like to say a special thank you to Sarah Murray from our local Alzheimer’s Society who very kindly donated T-shirts for us to wear and provided us with the Christmas cards, pins and fridge magnets to sell along with the buckets to collect money.

A HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE THAT DONATED AND ATTENDED, thanks to your kind generosity we raised £742.76 – Thank you.
